Which AFCB player is best placed to nick an England place in 2021?

The time when AFCB didn't have a player knocking on the door of the England national team seems a long time ago now. We are used to seeing Callum Wilson in particular wear the national shirt, but before him there was Lewis Cook who won his first cap in March 2018, and had been involved in squads at the back end of 2017. But is Aaron Ramsdale the best placed of the Cherries now to be an outside contender for an England call up next summer?
Ramsdale may be the next England player to win a full cap.
The honour of playing for ones country has to be one of the biggest and proudest moments of any player's career. You can see that just listening to Lewis Cook's recent interview on AFCBTV. But winning cap after cap hasn't been easy for Bournemouth's players. Callum Wilson now has four caps to his name, but he still has a way to go to catch Jermain Defoe on 57, even if most, if not all, of Jermain's call ups were not as a Bournemouth player.

While Lewis Cook and Callum Wilson, more recently, have slipped out of the picture for an England place, Bournemouth might have a new challenger in the shaper of Aaron Ramsdale. As an England U21 keeper he has to already been in Gareth Southgate's thoughts and with almost a season of Premier League games behind him, Ramsdale is now moving closer to being a contender.

While Jordan Pickford and Nick Pope are probably the lead contenders for the keeper's shirt, Ramsdale needs to try and rival Sheffield United's Dean Henderson if he is to sneak into Southgate's thoughts. The problem is AFCB have conceded 47 goals at a rate of 1.6 goals a game. That may be good for a Bournemouth keeper compared to previous seasons, despite AFCB's low league position. However, it doesn't rate so well against Henderson on 27 games and 27 goals against, ie one a game.

This probably indicates that all of Bournemouth's most likely players to interest Southgate have a massive jump in performance to make, if they are to be considered for the Euros in 2021.
