Free scoring Cherries on target again
I read a stat from a fan who tweeted that AFCB were the highest scorers in Europe now. I haven't checked it but it would not surprise me. It is one thing for your team to go on a winning run but quite another to see it win games handsomely on many occasions. The big wins keep coming for the Cherries and it is not because all defences at the Championship level are poor. The striking force that Eddie Howe has may not even be the best at this level, but the team as whole is creating more chances than anything we have seen in a long time.

Goal hungry Cherries. |
The impressive part of this though is that it is not just one or two players scoring, but just about everyone that puts on an AFCB Shirt. The FA Cup match against Rotherham was a particularly amazing result because Rotherham had out a strong side. It does not seem to matter what Bournemouth side are put out at the moment though. Whether they are simply fitter, more clinical or better trained the players are putting other teams to the sword.
Coming back from one-nil down also demonstrates that the belief in the team is really high and that not a lot of things worry them as they feel they can turn things around. As an AFCB fan though I do wonder how much better things can get? I also wonder, what has been created here? It's a squad of players that are just ripping up records, left, right and centre. Whether we can really believe what is going on at BH7 7AF or not, the goals just keep going in.
AFCB have a quality squad. It's building something special and it is an absolute privilege to watch Eddie Howe's teams go about their business in such a methodical way.
Whoever AFCB draw in the next round of the FA Cup I am sure that the Cherries will give it their utmost to get through the tie. I noted that 18 Premier League still in the cup, so there is a good chance that AFCB will draw one of them. AFCB are ball No 12.
