Ryan Fraser had the opportunity to make the difference in Scotland's last UEFA Nation's league game against Israel in what was a straight winner takes all match. Fraser lined up on the left with Scotland employing a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Fraser got on another run on 14 minutes, but was fouled by Yeini. Armstrong and Fraser created a much better chance on 21 minutes when Fraser cut a ball back across the box and Colin McGregor hit a shot that the keeper just kept out. A swift turn and run by Fraser was found by Armstrong a couple of minutes later, deep in Israel's hal,f but Ryan could not get his cross in against Dasa.

A strong corner from Fraser on 29 minutes almost led to a goal, but McKenna's header was not powerful enough. Armstrong hit a strong shot on 34 minutes that hit Fraser's back in the box and the ball ran out to James Forrest who equalised - I expect Fraser will claim an assist for that!
It was just two minutes before half-time when Scotland turned the game around with a powerful run by Christie and a lofted past to find Forrest again who made it 2-1.
The start of the second half saw Fraser slide in a fast low-cross that Harush, Israel's keeper, had to get down to well to stop a Scotland player from getting on to it. A Ryan Fraser corner was then headed just over the bar by Fletcher. Ryan had another chance to put the ball into the box from a free kick on 57 minutes but Harush just punched ahead of the Scotland strikers.
Fraser's best moment came though on 64 minutes, when he slipped down the left and crossed cleverly to pick out Forrest who made it 3-1 to complete his hat-trick. Another free kick for Fraser to take on 70 minutes from the right was cleared. Zahavi then pulled a goal back for Israel on 74 minutes.
Fraser had a big chance to score on 78 minutes when a ball was lofted through from Forrest, but Fraser hit his shot too high. McGregor had to make a reaction save with two minutes to go from Israel's sub Hemed. Fraser then made a couple of clearances in the four minutes of added time.
Scotland are now promoted to League B and had a play-off place for the Euros with this 3-2 win.
In other news, David Brooks played 59 minutes in Wales 1-0 defeat to Albania. Jack Simpson also made his England U21 debut against Denmark in a 5-1 win alongside Lewis Cook.

A lot of Scotland's early attacks came down the right and it wasn't until the eighth minute that Ryan got on the ball, but his cross was easily cut out. A moment later and Scotland were 0-1 down after Kayal's stroke from outside the box.
