Eddie Howe takes his team up to Newcastle knowing that Rafa Benitez's team have just had a morale booting win against Watford. Whether that makes then harder to beat at St James' Park won't be clear until we see how Newcastle United's players react to the way Bournemouth's front men have been playing of late.
Watford created plenty of chances against Newcastle, but were unable to take any of them. If Newcastle are still having difficult in stopping shots on goal then they won't find that their one win will help them too much against Bournemouth.
The Cherries are also now feeling like they have let points slip from a game where they should ave got something and training should be good this week. It was not a bad performance against Man United and Bournemouth's players are going to be eager to put last weekend's result behind them.
Newcastle do have goalscorers but the team has only scored seven goals in their 11 games which is along way behind Bournemouth's 20 goals. What should give Newcastle fans some belief is how they played in getting a 0-0 draw with Southampton in an away game. That was probably a better result than the Watford game when they were fortunate to take the three points.
But having won at home, there is nothing hanging over Newcastle anymore. They can play with a bit more freedom even though they are still only out of the relegation zone on goal difference. Newcastle could be inspired if the crowd get behind them. So I don't find this a simple game for Bournemouth. There has to be a mentality that Newcastle are not going to be easy to beat and if the Cherries go into the game expecting it to be as hard as it was against Man United then they will be in a better position to put to make the most of it when they get opportunities to score.
