So much to enjoy about AFCB's performances

While defeat against Manchester United was disappointing, there was much to like about the performance of AFCB. I felt the movement and attacking play was as good as it has been at times and. considering that Josh King was not involved, it was good to see that others could blend well with Wilson to cause defences problems.
AFCB caused plenty of problems for Man Utd.
The movement upfront is something that catches the eye in very game now. The introduction of David Brooks has certainly taken it up a gear and Fraser's powerful running is making him a hard player to marvel over. With Stanislas not having so many games, I feel he is still some way off his very best and Eddie Howe may see him improve further yet.

Where Bournemouth have also improved though is in the way Callum Wilson has interacted with the runs of others. He is happy to come deep and get involved wit setting up play and he looks fitter than ever. He is also getting the chances for his own game and has started to get on a roll in terms of scoring and getting assists. His confidence in front of goal will be excellent at the moment.

What I like about the forward players though is that they are clearly enjoying their football. They are confusing defenders and playing for each other. It is one reason why AFCB have had so many penalties and while Paul Tierney surprisingly didn't point to the spot against Man Utd, against lesser defences AFCB are likely to get more joy.

AFCB's counter-attacking play is now at a level that is maybe just behind that of Liverpool and Man City. But if they keep working at it, there is no reason why AFCB's forwards can't be just as dangerous on the counter as these leading teams.
