AFCB tickets much in demand for Charlton fans

The first championship match of the season is not so far away, but the Charlton fans who want to come and see their team play against the Cherries on 3 August will need to be Valley Gold members if they want a good chance to see the game live. AFCB has offered Charlton Athletic 1447 seats for the Bournemouth match and 701 tickets were snapped up by Charlton Valley Gold members on Tuesday morning.

Tickets are only currently on sale for Charlton supporters who are five-year VIP season ticket holders and Valley Gold season ticket holders and season ticket supporters who purchased four away game match tickets last season. It looks like it will be a real scrap for tickets for general Charlton supporters after that, as Dean Court cannot currently accommodate a greater number of away supporters for this fixture.

I imagine that it will be a similar story for many of the away supporters who want to visit the Gladsands Stadium next season. AFCB tickets are going to be a premium commodity for our guests.

Surely it can't be long before we hear news of who exactly will be seated in the temporary covered South stand.

Meanwhile, AFCB has announced that more than 6000 season tickets have now been sold for home supporters. UTCIAD!
